I was commissioned by Clear Keep to help create the visual identity of a new TTRPG game called “Steel Weeds”. Set in a strange, hostile, otherwordly reimagined Wild West, the game features diverse and imaginative character classes, a unique setting and an unforgettable player experience.

Stories through Symbolism
The visual language of “Steel Weeds” is supposedf to evoke Tarot cards, mystical imagery and a touch of religious iconography. Each design represents a character archetype that can be played in the game. So with each illustration I tried to incorporate the themes, stories and flaws of each of those archetypes and give a small visual glimpse into what the player can expect when playing one such character.
