An End of an era
In 2020 I was part of a small anthology celebrating the finale of the beloved and long-running comic series Lumberjanes by BOOM!Studios. Together with several other comic artists, I was asked to draw a short comic about the bittersweet experience of a summer’s end. The anthology itself was published in 2020.
A Yearly spectacle
For my short comic I chose one of my favorite events that occurs every mid-August: The Perseids.
A meteor shower where you can experience hundreds of shooting stars if you are lucky. I have fond memories of driving out into the country with family and friends, far away from the light pollution of cities, to witness this absolutely beautiful phenomenon.
So it felt right to sort of give the cast of such an incredible franchise the opportunity to experience the Perseids for themselves.
