The most magical summercamp
Lumberjanes , originally created by ND Stevenson and Gus Allen and published by BOOM!Studios, was a comic series than ran from 2014 to 2020 and became a beloved series for readers of all ages and genders. – In 2017 BOOM!Studios approached me for the opportunity to work on 3 standalone graphic novels in the Lumberjanes universe, and of course I jumped at the opportunity. Together with writer Lilah Sturges, cover artist Alexa Sharpe as well as letterer Jim Campbell I worked on these graphic novels in the years 2018 to 2020.

The Infernal Compass
The first graphic novel, “The Infernal Compass” focuses primarily on the sweet couple Mal & Molly, as well as an intrepid adventurer with a compass that follows its own rules. Oh, and an army of robotic butlers to assist her search of curious artifacts.
As Mal and Molly try to navigate their relationship and how others perceive it, the Roanoke girls also have to figure out how to escape an involuntary afternoon tea served by very polite robot kidnappers.
It was originally published in 2018.
The Shape of friendship
The second graphic novel, “The Shape of Friendship” has its focus on the two best friends April and Jo. Their friendship seems to falter when Barney and Jo become closer friends, and April doesn’t know how to cope with these development.
All the while, mischivious, shapeshifting Pookas return to camp in the shapes of the Roanokes.
It was originally published in 2019.

True Colors
In the final installment of the graphic novels, “True Colors” the story revolves mainly around Riply as well as the Roanoke’s cabin leader Jen.
While Ripley struggles with coming to terms with her weirdness and unique personality, Jen desperately wants to impress the counselor assessor Dana Jones.
It was originally published in 2020.
